Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts (no blocked scheduling)
- 48 hours per week (guaranteed except during holidays when units close)
- 8-week contract
- Every other weekend and holiday required (unless approved for time off)
Qualifications:
- Active KY or Compact RN License
- One year+ RN experience in Med Surg/Tele, with Level I or Level II Trauma exposure required
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, & NIHSS certifications (must be submitted with application)
- EKG proficiency (test required during onboarding)
- Experience with Care View and/or EPIC charting (preferred, will train if needed)
- Capacity to read and interpret telemetry strips
- Adaptable, resilient, and reliable with a collaborative approach
Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care across med surg and telemetry units
- Float throughout all inpatient areas as needed; assist as an aide if circumstances require
- Manage patient ratios up to 1:6 in units ranging from 15-45 beds
- Navigate a fast-paced, demanding trauma care setting with professionalism
- Uphold infection control standards, including adherence to COVID protocols
