This is a tremendous opportunity to expand your resume within a 340-bed hospital, gaining firsthand experience in a dynamic setting. Youll work alongside leaders with diverse management styles, enhance your adaptability by floating across in-patient units, and sharpen your abilities in Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing while working night shifts.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts
- 48 hours per week guaranteed (orientation and certain holidays excepted)
- Contract length: 8 weeks
- Every other weekend and holiday required (unless approved off)
Primary Qualifications:
- Active KY or Compact RN License
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 1 year Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience
- Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
- Ability to read/interpret tele strips is essential
- Experience with Care View/EPIC (training provided if needed)
- EKG test completion during compliance
- Must provide proof of COVID vaccination or accepted exemption with weekly testing
- Hardworking, socially adept, and adaptable team players appreciated
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care on Med/Surg and Telemetry units
- Float to all in-patient areas as needed; may assist as an aide in other units
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
