Schedule & Hours:

• Night shifts: 7PM 7AM
• Full-time
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in state of employment or compact
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent MedSurg nursing experience preferred
• Comfortable working with a patient ratio of 5:1 or 6:1
• Ability to wear ceil blue scrubs per dress code

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments aligned with protocols, monitoring for side effects and efficacy
• Document all patient care, symptoms, and treatments accurately
• Address patients psychological, social, and cultural needs
• Assess educational needs and provide relevant teaching to patients and their families
• Appropriately delegate tasks and manage other care team members as needed
