Working in a highly respected Level II Trauma Center, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and gain exposure to diverse clinical practices, honing your skills in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Schedule/Hours:
- 8-week travel assignment
- 48 hours per week12-hour night shifts (no blocked scheduling)
- Every other weekend/holiday required (unless approved off)
- Start date: ASAP
As a RN skilled in Med/Surg and Telemetry, you'll care for a range of patients and float throughout all in-patient areas. This setting provides ample opportunity to expand your resume and develop resilience, adaptability, and leadership qualitiesall while enjoying premium travel perks.
Qualifications:
- Active KY or Compact RN license
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (attach upon application)
- At least 1 year of recent RN experience in Med/Surg or Tele specialty
- Level I or II Trauma experience (required)
- Proficient with EKG interpretation and telemetry
- Experience with Care View/EPIC preferred (training provided)
- Must be adaptable, reliable, and excel in collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care in Med/Surg and Telemetry units, with a patient ratio of 1:6
- Float among inpatient units as needed; may assist other teams
- Accurately interpret and document patient data, including cardiac rhythm strips
- Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and trauma protocols
