Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care in a supportive medical-surgical environment located in Peshtigo, WI. This contract role offers the opportunity to work in a Level III Trauma Center with a patient-focused team, ensuring quality outcomes for diverse patient populations. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care on a telemetry medical-surgical unit, managing patients with varied medical needs.
• Utilize critical skills in telemetry monitoring and respond effectively to patient changes.
• Collaborate closely with charge nurses, LPNs, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC electronic health records and operate clinical equipment including Alaris infusion pumps and Pyxis medication systems.
• Support infection control protocols, including appropriate use of PPE.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active RN license with at least 2 years nursing experience.
• Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), and NIH Stroke Scale competency.
• Telemetry competence is required.
• Ability to work day and night shifts with patient ratios approximately 1:4-5 (days) and 1:5-6 (nights).
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize patient needs efficiently.
