Job Description

This role directs and coordinates patient care teams to provide individualized, high-quality nursing care aligned with state and hospital standards. The nurse collaborates with physicians, team members, patients, and families to develop comprehensive care plans while adhering to hospital policies and promoting a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients of varying ages including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
  • Collaborate closely with medical staff and other hospital personnel to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies, including sexual harassment prevention, advance directives, and disability accommodations.
  • Utilize professional nursing judgment and independent functioning in daily care activities.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure in the state or authorization to practice pending licensure by endorsement.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications obtained within six months of hire.
  • Strong assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
