Key Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for a designated group of patients throughout their care period
- Perform initial patient assessments and continually update care plans based on evolving patient and family needs
- Implement appropriate nursing interventions and procedures in accordance with unit standards
- Maintain accurate and current documentation to ensure seamless information sharing across the healthcare team
- Adjust care plans dynamically, responding to patient progress and circumstances
- Actively contribute to a safe environment by addressing incidents and identifying hazards
- Collaborate and communicate effectively within the team, offering feedback and seeking opportunities to expand your knowledge
- Initiate and complete requirements for departmental competencies and continuing education
