Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• At least one year of recent experience on a medical-surgical unit
• Proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong critical thinking capabilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-acuity settings

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse medical and surgical diagnoses
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff to implement patient-centered care plans
• Monitor, document, and report changes in patient conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and perform necessary procedures as per scope of practice
• Educate patients and families on recovery processes, discharge planning, and post-hospital care instructions
• Uphold strict infection prevention protocols and patient safety standards
• Rapidly respond to emergencies and changes in patient status
• Foster a supportive and positive environment for both patients and staff members
