Seeking a talented Registered Nurse with strong Med Surg experience to support a busy medical-surgical unit. This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated RN prepared to deliver safe, quality patient care in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (unencumbered)
• At least 1 year of recent experience in a medical-surgical (Med Surg) nursing setting
• BLS certification required
• Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
• Proficient documentation and communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, monitoring, and assessments in accordance with physician orders and established policies
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health management and care plans
• Update and maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or changes in patient condition
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
