This Med Surg travel assignment offers exposure to a dynamic hospital setting, allowing you to broaden your professional toolkit by working with a range of patient needs and learning from diverse healthcare teams. Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts, 6:30 pm7:00 am
- Alternating weekends
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active RN license
- Experience on Medical-Surgical (MS) units
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records
- Permanent address must be 50+ miles from job location
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to a varied patient population on a Med Surg unit
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans and ensure patient safety
- Accurately administer medications and perform ongoing patient assessments
- Maintain clear, effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Document all care activities in the Cerner system in accordance with facility standards
