Job Description

Deliver skilled nursing care in a dynamic medical-surgical environment with this 13-week contract position based in Pavo, GA, with a strong potential for extension. This role offers a flexible scheduling option between 3x12 or 4x12 shifts, providing a work-life balance tailored to your needs. The assignment begins approximately three weeks from the offer date and operates on a day shift schedule with extended hours from 07:00 to 19:00.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive patient care on the MedSurg unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Serve as a charge nurse, coordinating unit activities and supporting team members.
  • Utilize Soarian EMR for accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Float to other units as required to maintain staffing needs.
  • Adhere to facility policies, including the Royal Blue scrub dress code (scrubs not provided).
  • Comply with minimal to no Return to Office (RTO) requirements.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of 2 years recent MedSurg experience.
  • Experience in a charge nurse capacity preferred.
  • Travel nursing experience is an advantage.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
  • Ability to travel within a 50-mile radius; documentation to verify compliance is required.
  • Qualivis submission form, references, skills checklist, up-to-date NURSYS verification, and drivers license copy must accompany all submissions.
