A nursing opportunity is available for an experienced RN with Medical-Surgical (MS) expertise, offering the chance to contribute to patient care on a Medical Floor and Step Down Unit. This contract position provides a dynamic work environment with a focus on acute care in a busy hospital setting.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in Kansas
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing within an acute care setting
- BLS certification required
- Prior experience on Step Down units is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams and adapt to varying patient care needs

Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on Medical-Surgical and Step Down units
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond promptly to changes
- Implement care plans in coordination with physicians and healthcare team members
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
- Assist with weekend and holiday shifts as needed to provide continuous care coverage
Schedule:
- 12-hour day shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend and holiday work required on an as-needed basis
