Delivering patient-centered care within a dynamic acute care setting, this full-time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference as a Registered Nurse. The focus is on providing safe, high-quality nursing services in alignment with organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
Schedule/Hours
- Full-time, 12-hour day shifts (07:0019:00)
- Weekend shifts required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Holiday coverage required
Key Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing or nursing diploma required (Bachelors degree preferred)
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Kansas
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (ACLS and PALS certification may substitute for BLS, depending on department)
- At least one year of RN experience; new graduates are also welcome
- Willingness to obtain ACLS certification within 6 months if required by unit
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care following regulatory and organizational standards
- Coordinate care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams based on individualized patient needs
- Adhere to confidentiality standards and ensure accurate documentation
- Rely on sound clinical decision-making and critical thinking to address patient needs
- Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives as part of the care team
