Exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to deliver exceptional care in a dynamic acute care inpatient unit. This full-time role features 12-hour day shifts (7:00 am7:00 pm), with weekend and holiday coverage required, and no mandatory on-call or floating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality direct nursing care according to established protocols and policies.
- Accurately assess patient conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Advocate for patient needs, involving families in care planning and education.
- Maintain meticulous clinical documentation while upholding patient privacy.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for new nurses; new graduates are welcome.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Nursing or diploma required; Bachelors in Nursing preferred.
- Valid Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Kansas.
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience preferred; will consider new graduates eager to learn.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred or must obtain within 6 months if assigned to applicable units.
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and organizational skills.
