Job Description
An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical expertise to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, requiring strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care following established nursing practices and protocols
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and coordinate treatments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers
- Adhere to safety standards and infection control policies
- Support patients and families through education and emotional support
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with Medical-Surgical (MS) experience
- Chemo certification preferred, enhancing ability to care for oncology patients
- Ability to work every other weekend and Easter as required
- Available for contracts ranging between 36 to 48 hours weekly
- Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills
Schedule/Hours:
- 36 to 48 hours per week acceptable
- Every other weekend required
- Easter shift required
