Schedule/Hours:
- Day and night shifts available
Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Med-Surg unit
- Conducting ongoing patient assessments, including monitoring vital signs and managing medication administration
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement comprehensive patient care plans
- Educating patients and their families on treatment plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
- Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active RN license valid in Alabama or compact state
- Minimum one year recent experience in a Med-Surg unit
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced certifications preferred)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and work efficiently both independently and within a team
