Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Prior experience in medical-surgical or oncology nursing strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking abilities
• Compassion towards individuals undergoing cancer treatment
• Solid organizational and multitasking skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to oncology/med-surg patients, including administration of chemotherapy and supportive therapies
• Monitor patient conditions, collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on disease process, treatment options, and ongoing care needs
• Uphold hospital quality, safety, and infection control standards
• Participate in unit-based initiatives to support Magnet and nationally recognized care standards
