Job Description

Experienced registered nurses with a passion for oncology are needed for an engaging contract opportunity specializing in Med-Surg Oncology. In this role, you will work alongside dedicated clinicians in a modern, well-equipped environment, delivering compassionate care to oncology patients at critical stages of their treatment journey.

Schedule:

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • At least 1 year of recent experience in Med-Surg Oncology nursing
  • BLS certification required (other certifications may be preferred)
  • Strong assessment, communication, and patient advocacy skills
  • Ability to function independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult oncology patients in an inpatient setting
  • Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and other oncology-related treatments according to established protocols
  • Monitor and assess patient responses, document progress, and adjust care plans as needed
  • Offer education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and support staff to ensure the highest quality care
  • Uphold safety standards and participate actively in quality improvement initiatives
