Advance your nursing career within a highly specialized Oncology setting, working alongside experienced professionals at a leading Magnet and Teaching Hospital. This contract position centers on delivering expert care to patients on the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Oncology units, with frequent opportunities to float throughout the entire Oncology department to meet shifting patient needs.

Schedule:

• Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• Every other weekend required

Role Highlights:

• Patient ratios are consistently maintained at 4:1 for all shifts
• Deliver care within a 32-bed unit, supporting an average daily census of 30
• Administer chemotherapy and participate in auto stem cell transplant processes
• Floating required to various Oncology units as needed per shift; not exclusively assigned to one unit
• Utilize EPIC charting system
• Must wear navy blue scrubs

Qualifications:

• Active RN license; BCLS certification required
• One year of relevant oncology experience required; Chemo certification strongly preferred
• Experience with auto stem cell transplants and chemotherapy administration a plus
• Strong interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias; must successfully pass the Relias EKG exam
• Open to first time travelers with applicable experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality clinical care for oncology and BMT patients
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias as part of regular patient monitoring
• Float between Oncology units to deliver care where most needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, trauma-level I environment
