This 16-week travel role, starting May 26, offers flexible schedulingchoose between 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week with rotating shifts. The setting provides exposure to a high-acuity, magnet-designated medical center, strengthening your clinical expertise and boosting your resume with diverse, large-facility experience.
Schedule:
- Rotating shifts
- 36 hours/week (3x12-hour shifts) OR 48 hours/week (4x12-hour shifts)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred, ASN accepted
- Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license (must be valid throughout contract)
- Current BLS/HCP and Chemotherapy certification required
- Two or more years of full-time Oncology RN experience prior to any travel assignments required
- Experience in large, high-acuity hospitals (preferably 500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma Center) highly valued
- Preferred: ACLS, NIHSS, CPI (or equivalent) certifications
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized inpatient oncology care, administering chemotherapy and supporting patients through various treatment stages
- Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team to optimize outcomes
- Ensure meticulous documentation and promote evidence-based nursing practices
- Float to related units as needed within your scope of practice
