Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; hours and shifts will be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active RN license
- Minimum of one year experience in Medical-Surgical Oncology required
- Strong assessment, clinical, and patient care coordination skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to oncology patients in a medical-surgical unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient symptoms and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to implement patient-centered care plans
- Administer chemotherapy, medications, and manage IVs as needed
- Educate patients and families regarding ongoing treatments and discharge processes
- Act as a patient advocate to ensure safety and comfort
