Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Active RN license, BLS required
  • Minimum one year of recent acute care oncology nursing experience
  • Chemo and biotherapy certification preferred
  • Comfort and compassion working with oncology and hematology patients
  • Step-down experience and familiarity with fluid bolus management, standing orders, and acute patients is a plus
  • Strong adaptability, quick learning, and team-oriented mindset

Schedule:

  • 7pm-7am

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care for oncology/hematology patients, including medication, blood, and electrolyte administration
  • Monitor and manage patient status with advanced equipment (telemetry, bladder scanner, Alaris pumps, Meditech EMR)
  • Assist with and support procedures such as lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies, and thoracentesis
  • Adhere to best practices in patient safety, medication management, and infection prevention
