Deliver high-quality care and compassionate support to oncology patients on a dynamic medical-surgical unit. In this contract role, your expertise as a Registered Nurse specializing in MS Oncology will be essential in managing cancer-related conditions, administering complex therapies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Proven experience in medical-surgical and oncology nursing
• Current BLS certification
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records
• Ability to adapt quickly and work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adults undergoing oncology treatments, including administration of chemotherapy and blood products
• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and therapeutic responses
• Collaborate with physicians, oncology specialists, and ancillary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding disease process, treatment protocols, and symptom management
• Ensure a safe care environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols
• Support discharge planning and transition of care for oncology patients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support high standards of care and regulatory compliance

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
