Job Description

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position with variable shifts to meet patient and department needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care to oncology and medical-surgical inpatients
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient status and clinical changes
  • Administer medications, chemotherapy, and other treatments as prescribed
  • Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and families to optimize patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatment, and symptom management
  • Uphold infection control and patient safety protocols at all times
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and complex clinical situations

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Current, valid RN license
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Recent experience in MS Oncology or relevant acute care environment strongly preferred
  • Chemotherapy administration certification or oncology-specific training is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic priorities
