Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position with variable shifts to meet patient and department needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care to oncology and medical-surgical inpatients
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status and clinical changes
- Administer medications, chemotherapy, and other treatments as prescribed
- Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and families to optimize patient care plans
- Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatment, and symptom management
- Uphold infection control and patient safety protocols at all times
- Respond promptly to emergencies and complex clinical situations
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current, valid RN license
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Recent experience in MS Oncology or relevant acute care environment strongly preferred
- Chemotherapy administration certification or oncology-specific training is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic priorities
