Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license
  • Previous experience in Medical-Surgical Oncology nursing strongly preferred
  • Compassionate approach to patient care and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong clinical assessment abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • BLS and oncology-specific certifications (preferred)

Schedule:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to oncology patients throughout their treatment journey
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients with complex diagnoses
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Administer medications, chemotherapy, and monitor patient responses, adhering to all established safety protocols
  • Offer education, emotional support, and advocacy to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing health management
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare professionals
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards for infection control, documentation, and patient safety
