Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 1 year of Nursing experience in Medical-Surgical Oncology
• Active ACLS certification (required before start)
• Valid Chemo Certification (required before start)
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and maintain focus in high-pressure situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to oncology patients on a medical-surgical unit, including monitoring, administering chemotherapy, and managing complex treatment regimens
• Accurately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with oncology and interdisciplinary teams
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
• Offer compassionate support and education to patients and their families throughout the treatment journey
• Participate in care team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Adhere strictly to facility protocols and safety standards related to chemotherapy and infection control
