Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • BLS certification (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent hospital acute care oncology experience
  • Chemo and biotherapy certification (preferred)
  • Background in step-down or acute hematology care (preferred)
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and quick to learn

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to oncology and hematology patients
  • Manage medication, blood, and electrolyte replacement therapies
  • Assist with procedures, including lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies, and thoracentesis
  • Collaborate closely with fellow nursesprimary nursing model with significant RN autonomy
  • Maintain meticulous documentation in Meditech EMR
  • Uphold unit policies and safe handling practices around hazardous drugs
