Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment (specific hours will be discussed during interview)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on a med-surg oncology unit
- Administer prescribed treatments and medications
- Monitor patient progress and promptly report any changes
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment and recovery
- Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Adhere to evidence-based protocols and maintain high-quality patient documentation
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active RN license (GA or compact)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in med-surg oncology preferred
- BLS certification (required); Oncology Nurse Certification is a plus
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
