Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent hospital-based acute care Oncology nursing experience
- Chemo and biotherapy certification preferred
- Step down or acute hematology experience advantageous
- Compassionate approach to oncology and high-acuity populations
- Adaptability and quick learning abilities
Duties Include:
- Managing a 3-4:1 patient ratio on an 18-bed Blood Cancer Unit
- Delivering primary nursing care, including medication, blood, and electrolyte administration
- Assisting with lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies, and thoracentesis procedures
- Collaborating with a seasoned team to uphold clinical quality measures and safety standards
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative, and supportive work culture
