Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, variable shifts
- Rotating weekends and holidays as needed
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent MS Oncology experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in administering chemotherapy and managing oncology patients
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and patient advocacy skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to adult oncology patients in a medical-surgical setting
- Administer chemotherapy, monitor for side effects, and manage complications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on care planning and patient education
- Document patient status and treatment in EMR
- Educate patients and families on disease process and symptom management
- Maintain safety standards and best practices for infection prevention
