Key Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in med/surg oncology
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff
• Competency in handling chemotherapy administration, side effect management, and electronic medical record systems
• BLS certification (required)
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) preferred but not mandatory

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care including assessment, monitoring, and administration of prescribed oncology treatments
• Collaborate closely with oncologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medication management, and symptom management
• Monitor, document, and report changes in patients conditions promptly
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for all patients
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their loved ones during difficult moments
