This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Masters degree specialized in Oncology. The position involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, supporting treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes during their cancer care journey.
Responsibilities:
- Administer oncology-specific nursing care in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor patient health status and response to treatments.
- Educate patients and families about treatments, side effects, and care plans.
- Collaborate with oncologists and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current RN license.
- Masters degree in Nursing with Oncology specialization.
- Proven experience in clinical oncology settings.
- Strong knowledge of chemotherapy, radiation therapies, and supportive care.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
