Job Description

What Youll Bring:

  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Proven experience in medical-surgical oncology settings
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
  • Proficiency in chemotherapy administration and central line management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • BLS certification (required); OCN certification (preferred)
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced acute care environment

What Youll Do:

  • Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to oncology patients, including medication administration and side effect management
  • Monitor patient status, recognize early signs of complications, and intervene appropriately
  • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists, therapists, and support staff
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, symptom management, and expectations
  • Document thoroughly within the electronic medical record
  • Support patient and family emotional needs through challenging diagnoses and treatments
