Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Minimum of one year of medical-surgical oncology experience strongly preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered, compassionate care
  • Experience in a hospital or acute care setting highly regarded
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver focused, high-quality nursing care to oncology patients throughout all phases of treatment
  • Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed medications per safety guidelines
  • Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary care team
  • Monitor and assess patient status, responding to evolving clinical needs
  • Educate patients and families regarding care plans and resources
  • Adhere to strict infection prevention and safety protocols
  • Accurately document patient interventions and progress in electronic health records
