Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of one year of medical-surgical oncology experience strongly preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered, compassionate care
- Experience in a hospital or acute care setting highly regarded
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver focused, high-quality nursing care to oncology patients throughout all phases of treatment
- Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed medications per safety guidelines
- Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary care team
- Monitor and assess patient status, responding to evolving clinical needs
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and resources
- Adhere to strict infection prevention and safety protocols
- Accurately document patient interventions and progress in electronic health records
