Job Description

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing or nursing diploma required
  • Current Kansas RN license and at least 1 year of registered nursing experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (ACLS and PALS may substitute depending on department)
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing and ACLS certification within 6 months (preferred for specific units; strongly encouraged)
  • Welcoming new graduate nurses eager to launch their careers in an acute care setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional, evidence-based care to patients in an acute care inpatient setting
  • Coordinate and prioritize patient treatment, applying strong decision-making and communication skills
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and state/national regulations for patient care and data security
  • Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and contribute to ongoing process improvements
