Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with experience in cardiopulmonary and medical-surgical care to support a surgical observation unit in Oklahoma City. This travel assignment offers a chance to make a significant impact while working a consistent day shift schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nursing care to cardiopulmonary medical-surgical patients within the surgical observation unit.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for accurate documentation.
  • Float to other units as needed to support facility operations.
  • Adhere to facility policies, including the required influenza vaccination for all travelers (with client-approved exemptions).

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
  • Comfortable working 3 consecutive 12-hour day shifts per week with approximately 36 guaranteed hours.
  • Willingness to work weekend hours as required.
  • Ability to wear black scrubs per dress code.
