Working in a modern acute care facility with 32 total bedsincluding 3 step-down beds and 29 med surg/tele bedsyoull collaborate within a supportive team structure, benefit from reliable resources, and gain firsthand experience with advanced systems such as Omnicell for medication management and Cerner for documentation. Flexible scheduling and exposure to unique staffing models empower you to broaden your skill set.
Schedule/Hours
- Flexible scheduling: set schedule (rotor) or flex as needed
- Weekend shifts depending on employment status (full-time or part-time)
- On-call may be required based on census
Key Qualifications
- Active RN license with experience in a med surg setting
- Minimum of one year of current experience in a similar acute care environment
- Experience with tele and step-down patients preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration, IV therapy, and using electronic health records (Cerner experience a plus)
- Strong collaborative skills and adaptability to different team dynamics
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive care to med-surg and telemetry patients with varying acuity
- Collaborate with physicians, hospitalists, and ancillary staff for optimal patient outcomes
- Respond promptly to changing patient needs and census-driven call requirements
- Utilize advanced medication and documentation systems for high-quality, efficient workflows
- Follow facility protocols and contribute to a culture of safety and respect
