Key Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Previous experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) unit required
• Solid clinical assessment, organizational, and critical thinking abilities
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation
• Current BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor patient progress, and administer medications as per orders
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Provide wound care, pain management, and pre/post-operative care to Med Surg patients
• Communicate with patients and their families to offer education and support throughout the care process
• Coordinate discharge planning and ensure continuity of care
• Adhere to all facility protocols, infection control guidelines, and patient safety standards
