Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts (6:30 AM 7:00 PM)
• 36 hours/week guaranteed (option for 48 hours)
• Bi-weekly orientation start on 6/1
• Three weekends every six weeks; every other holiday
• Floating between nearby campuses (within 11 miles) as needed, with advance notice

Qualifications:

• Active compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years recent Cardiac/Tele experience
• At least one prior travel assignment
• Trauma level II experience
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Recent EPIC charting proficiency (checkoff class required)
• Strong assessment, multitasking, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to independently interpret EKGs, manage drips, and handle cardiac/renal emergencies

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert care to a high-acuity cardiac telemetry/medical-surgical population
• Perform advanced nursing tasks: EKG interpretation, titration/monitoring of drips, initiation of complex therapies, chest tube/drain management, and more
• Float to sister campus locations as assigned within scope
• Collaborate with the units established, supportive team
• Participate in teaching, precepting students and new hires
