Schedule/Hours
- 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM 7 AM
- Guaranteed 36 hours/week (option for 48 hours upon request)
- 13-week contract with bi-weekly orientation
- Three weekends per every six-week schedule and every other holiday
- Occasional floating between nearby campuses, with advance notice
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted compact RN license
- AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications (must be attached with submission)
- Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg experience, including 1 prior travel assignment
- Trauma level II experience highly preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC charting (recent experience required)
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and adaptability skills
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to a diverse Med/Surg population (post-surgical, UTI, sepsis, COPD, CHF, high fall risk)
- Manage remote telemetry, chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood products, tracheostomies, PCA
- Potentially precept students and new hires
- Float to sister facilities within an 11-mile radius as needed
