Schedule & Hours:

• 13-week assignment, beginning mid-May with bi-weekly orientation
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week (option for 48 upon request)
• 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 p.m. 7:00 a.m.
• Rotating weekends (three of every six) and every other holiday

Professional Growth: As a member of a 44-bed Ortho Neuro Trauma Care Center, youll care for a diverse trauma patient population with conditions ranging from orthopedic injuries to complex neuro cases. Expect hands-on learning, exposure to innovative patient care protocols, and regular collaboration with experienced clinicians and leadersexpanding your practice and resume while customizing your path as a travel nurse.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years RN experience with 1 year in ortho/neuro/trauma and 1 prior travel assignment
• Level II trauma experience and recent EPIC charting background
• AHA BLS and NIHSS certification
• Proven competency in neuro assessment, tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (must pass tele test), log rolling, patient assistive devices, PIV insertion, and strong clinical judgment
• Willingness to float between Newburgh and nearby campuses (with 2 hours notice); adaptable and resilient work style

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in managing chest tubes/drains, drips, epidurals, NG/PEG tubes, wound care, traction, On-Q, and behavioral health protocols
