Schedule/Hours:

  • 36-hour workweek guaranteed; 48 hours available by request
  • 12-hour night shifts (6:30 pm 7:00 am)
  • Rotating weekends: 3 out of every 6-week schedule
  • Holiday coverage required (every other holiday)
  • Start: May 18 (bi-weekly orientation)
  • 13-week contract

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current active compact RN license (required at application)
  • AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience with at least one year in ortho/neuro/trauma and one prior travel assignment
  • Trauma Level II experience required
  • Epic charting experience within the last year (checkoff class required)
  • Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and neuro assessment skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with chest tube/drain management, drips, epidural management, wound care, and advanced mobility aids
  • Resilient attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate care to trauma, orthopedic, and neuro patients
  • Perform comprehensive neuro assessments, manage immobilization devices, interpret 12-lead EKGs, and handle PIV insertions
  • Float to nearby campuses as needed within your skillset (with advance notice)
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive multidisciplinary team
