Schedule/Hours:
- Travel role with varied shifts as assigned
- Expect rotation within regional facilities according to system needs, with travel time compensated if floating mid-shift
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive bedside care to a diverse MedSurg/Tele patient population
- Perform advanced skill sets including NIH stroke assessments, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tube and trach care, and management of devices such as Dobhoff, PEG, and PCA pumps
- Collaborate effectively with CNAs, reception, phlebotomy, RT, and 24/7 hospitalist support
- Safely administer cardiac drips, blood products, and manage IVFs
- Navigate Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication systems, and Philips monitoring equipment
- Float within the local region as needed to meet patient care demands
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license plus BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- At least 18 months of Med/Tele experience preferred
- Proficient in general medical-surgical and telemetry nursing skills
- Flexibility to float among designated local facilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
