Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00am7:00pm or 7:00pm7:00am
- Weekend rotation: every other weekend
- No on-call requirements
- Holiday coverage: 75% required
- Schedule cycle: 6 weeks
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 18 months Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency in general Med/Tele skills: stroke assessment, chest tube management, PIV starts, trach care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, NGT placement, drain/tube management, PCA pumps, medication drips (cardiac, heparin, blood products, IV fluids)
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care for patients with conditions such as stroke, COPD, chest pain, GI bleeds, and altered mental status
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:57, adjusting with unit acuity
- Work collaboratively with CNAs, charge nurses, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and support staff
- Float within the region as needed, adapting to various facility cultures and workflows
- Utilize advanced monitoring technology and administer complex treatments
