Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00am - 7:30pm shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Every Other Weekend (EOW) rotation
Key Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered RN license
- Strong clinical background in Medical-Surgical nursing
- Inpatient Hold and Emergency Department experience (preferred)
- Excellent critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to patient acuity changes
- Current BLS/ACLS certifications
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care for inpatient hold and medical-surgical patients
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status and progress
- Implement physician orders and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Provide care to ED patients as needed, supporting unit flexibility
- Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge needs
- Uphold hospital safety policies and infection control standards
