As a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse on this dynamic travel assignment, you'll engage with diverse workplace practices and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team. This role is especially fulfilling for RNs who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to expand their expertise by floating to Emergency Department patients when needed.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 am 7:30 pm
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend rotation required
Qualifications:
- Active RN license, eligible for practice in Connecticut
- Recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to provide care for both Med-Surg and, preferably, Emergency Department patients
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive inpatient nursing care in a Medical-Surgical setting
- Monitor for changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records
- Coordinate effectively with physicians and other allied health professionals
- May assume responsibility for stable ED patient holds as required
- Participate in weekend rotations and adapt to varied patient acuity as needed

$2,323 - $2,458/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
