Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 pm 7:30 am
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend rotation
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active RN license, valid in Connecticut
- Recent experience in medical-surgical nursing (MS)
- Preferred: Ability and willingness to care for Emergency Department hold patients
- Proven skills in managing acuity and patient ratios
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to inpatients
- Safely manage an assigned patient load within established ratios
- Support patients being held in the inpatient setting, including those from the ED
- Collaborate with physicians and the greater care team to coordinate comprehensive care
- Accurately document patient status, interventions, and outcomes
- Comply with all hospital protocols, policies, and safety standards
