Experienced Registered Nurses with a strong background in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing are invited to take on a contract assignment, providing outstanding patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This opportunity is ideal for RNs who are skilled in telemetry monitoring and who have a demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

Schedule/Hours:

• Every other weekend (EOW) rotation
• Every other holiday (EOH) required

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Med/Surg environment
• Proficient with telemetry monitoring; ability to interpret telemetry strips required
• Experience using EPIC electronic medical record
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Compliance with strict hygiene standards: no artificial or acrylic nails, natural nails must be kept short
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• Accurately monitor and interpret telemetry readings, escalating concerns as necessary
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes within the EPIC system
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and facilitate optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on conditions, medications, and care plans
• Adhere to facility and infection control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety
