As a Registered Nurse with a background in telemetry, youll be pivotal in providing attentive, holistic care to a diverse patient population while collaborating alongside a supportive clinical team.

Schedule/Hours

• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of two years of recent experience in a Med/Surg setting
• Solid background in Telemetry; must be proficient in cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Experience charting in EPIC electronic health records
• Completion of NIH Stroke Scale training (NIHSS) or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Strict adherence to hygiene guidelines: no artificial/acrylic nails; nails must be kept short

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for each patient
• Safely monitor patients with telemetry, responding promptly to changes in cardiac rhythms
• Administer medication and therapies as prescribed and document all care in EPIC
• Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medication, and best practices for wellness
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control within the patient care area
• Uphold compassionate, professional standards and contribute to a positive unit environment
