Schedule highlights:
- Rotational shifts with at least one weekend per four-week period
- Blocked scheduling options considered on a case-by-case basis
- Flexibility in assignments with floating determined by unit discretion
Key qualifications:
- Active RN license and BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience on a medical-surgical unit
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
- Proven ability to adapt quickly and work collaboratively in a team-based setting
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care for patients with a diverse mix of medical, post-surgical, orthopedic, and specialty needs
- Coordinate with RN/LPN teams and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and manage telemetry, specialty beds, wound vacs, IV infusions, and more
- Accurately document care using Meditech and stay current with evolving technologies like wound capture and mobiLab
- Practice within established clinical guidelines and contribute to a positive patient experience
