Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical-surgical setting

  • Competence in administering medications, performing wound care, and managing IVs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; additional certifications a plus
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and thorough documentation practices

Schedule:

  • Variable shifts based on facility needs; flexibility required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and implement individualized care plans for adults with diverse medical and surgical conditions
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform routine and specialized nursing procedures with accuracy
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other clinicians to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans, post-discharge care, and health promotion
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols
  • Accurately document all patient care activities and communicate effectively with team members
