An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with a Master of Science degree to provide expert care on a pulmonary unit. This contract role focuses on patients diagnosed with Pneumonia, COPD, Sleep Apnea, and those requiring Medical Telemetry and general medical support.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pulmonary patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor and assess patients with respiratory and related medical conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and clinical observations.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN licensure with advanced practice knowledge consistent with an RN-MS degree.
- Experience caring for patients with Pneumonia, COPD, Sleep Apnea, and medical telemetry.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to manage complex pulmonary cases.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
