Working in a dynamic, mixed acuity/specialty unit, you'll care for a diverse patient population, including those recovering from traumatic brain injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries, burns, amputations, and complex multi-trauma. Schedule/Hours

• 12-hour shifts: 6:30 AM7:00 PM or 6:30 PM7:00 AM
• Weekend rotation: every third
• Holiday assignment: one grouped set if holidays are back-to-back
• No on-call requirement
• Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience
• BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Strong skills in trach care, ventilators, IVs (including central lines and PICCs), wound care, drains, tubes, and tube feeds
• Experience in acute care or high-acuity rehab beneficial
• First-time travelers considered with manager approval

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver care to adults with complex medical and rehabilitation needs
• Manage a 1:6-7 nurse-patient ratio
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and documentation using Cerner EMR
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, CNAs/PCAs, and support staff
• Float within scope of practice if needed (excluding pediatric care)
